Duration of storage of personal data

Personal data, which are processed by us in the context of a general contact inquiry by e-mail or contact form, are stored for two years. e.g.

Personal data requested by us in connection with a room booking will only be stored for as long as necessary for the processing of the contract and any subsequent correspondence relating to the contract or, in the case of documents relevant under commercial and/or tax law that contain personal data, for as long as the statutory periods of the German Commercial Code and the German Fiscal Code provide for the storage of such documents.

For general inquiries sent to us by e-mail or contact form, the corresponding personal data will be stored for the purpose of the respective correspondence. A processing beyond this does not take place.

 

Direct booking option on our hotel website, combined with direct advertising via newsletter or similar

Personal data, which are requested in connection with a room booking, are processed for the purpose of contract processing. Furthermore, we use your e-mail address for the purpose of direct advertising for our own similar offers, provided that you have agreed to this use. You can object to this use for the purpose of direct advertising at any time.

 

Purpose of processing

Personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless you provide us with this information voluntarily, e.g. to process inquiries, to handle room bookings, for comments, when registering for the newsletter or for inquiries via the contact form. The voluntarily provided data will be used exclusively for the purpose for which it was provided.

 

Legal basis for processing

Personal data processed in connection with a general inquiry by e-mail or contact form will be processed on the basis of consent, Article 6 DSGVO.

Personal data processed in connection with a room booking are required for the fulfilment of the corresponding contract, article 6 DSGVO.

Log files on the servers are recorded about the access of the user of the pages, in particular fixed or dynamic IP address of the calling user, pages called up, browser type, referrer addresses, access date and access time. We may retrieve this data. The data contained in the log files is used exclusively for statistical purposes. An identification of the user - unless required by law - does not take place.

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps or RSS feeds are integrated into our website. This always assumes that the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. We make every effort to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example.

This website uses several plugins from Facebook, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. You can recognize these plugins either by the blue "F" of Facebook, a "thumbs up" sign or by the fact that this plugin is marked with the word "Facebook". When you call up this website, a connection to the Facebook servers is established via these plugins and data is transmitted. On the one hand, the information you see is transmitted directly from the servers to your browser and displayed there, and on the other hand, information about your visit to our website is transmitted to Facebook.
