Duration of storage of personal data

 

We store personal data that we process as part of a general contact request by email or contact form for two years.  

 

Personal data requested by us in connection with a room booking will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the execution of the contract and any subsequent contract-related correspondence or, in the case of documents relevant under commercial and/or tax law that contain personal data, for as long as the statutory periods of the German Commercial Code and the German Fiscal Code provide for the retention of these documents.

 

In the case of general inquiries sent to us by e-mail or contact form, the corresponding personal data is stored for the purpose of the respective correspondence. Any further processing will not take place.

 

 

 

Direct booking option on our hotel website, combined with direct advertising via newsletter or similar

 

Personal data requested by us in connection with a room booking will be processed for the purpose of processing the contract. Personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless you provide us with this information voluntarily, e.g. for processing inquiries, handling room bookings, comments, newsletter registration or inquiries via the contact form. Legal basis for processing

 

Personal data processed in connection with a general inquiry by email or contact form is processed on the basis of consent, Article 6 GDPR.

 

Personal data processed in connection with a room booking is required to fulfill the corresponding contract, Article 6 GDPR.

 

Log files about the user's access to the pages are recorded on the servers, in particular the fixed or dynamic IP address of the accessing user, pages accessed, browser type, referrer addresses, access date and access time. We can retrieve this data. The data contained in the log files is used exclusively for statistical purposes. The user is not identified, unless required by law.

 

It is possible that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps or RSS feeds, may be integrated into our website. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the user's IP address. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the respective user's browser. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes.

 

This website uses several plugins from Facebook, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
